What’s on offer in Bristol?
Bristol has some of the finest veg food – experience it with me..
I first came to Bristol in 2010 and haven’t left since. The people, the food and you could say, even the weather held me back. Its time someone took the hard work of sampling what good food in Bristol means.
Good food is not what you taste, its what it makes you feel. Do you feel the uplift of your spirit as you take a slow bite out of something? Do you feel like closing your eyes and savoring the flow of the warm or cold liquid flowing through you? That is what food is to me. It’s a gift to us, we humans lack the capacity to create such wonderful nourishing food all on our own. It’s given to us to survive, to savor and to service.
This blog is about such food. Food that uplifts me and makes me thankful for having this body that is capable of enjoying thus. Such food that I want share with you that you would also feel the joy that I am now.
Share with the me the joy of finding an unknown restaurant with brilliant veg food hidden in the menu, or the well known place with a surprisingly refreshing veg dish that is not the token nod to green leafy vegetables, or the traditional looking cafe where you go in expecting quorn sausages in the English veg breakfast option, but they turn around a spicy spinach and lentil sausage! This blog is about these kind of places, and about the food that appeals to me in the menu. Or something on the counter that catches my eye and calls to me! This is as much of a disclaimer as I can write without making it sound all official and prosaic.
Come along and discover with me.. I promise you some deliciously delightful dishes and drinks. I am excited myself, a life long passion for good food and now I am actually writing about it!
See you on the other side.
